Jacob Keith “Jake” Anderson, 16, of Jackson, passed away August 21, 2018 in an automobile accident. He was born March 1, 2002 to Craig and Rebecca Anderson. A member of the junior class at Jackson Academy, he was a teacher’s aide and a member of the Beta Club, History Club, Science Club and SGA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gaming. He was also a member of McCann’s United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin and Dollie Anderson, Edward and Janie Clolinger and uncles, Brian Keith Anderson and Edward Al Clolinger.
He is survived by his parents, Craig and Rebecca Clolinger Anderson of Jackson; sister, Raegan Anderson; aunts, Nancy (Randy) Richardson, Treasure Clolinger; his beloved cocker spaniel, Max and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with the Revs. Earl Watson and Forrest Weekly officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service. Interment will be private.
Pallbearers will be Jackson Academy classmates that were part of his class since 4-K: P.J. Fleming, Micah Roberts, Hayden Mills, Lawson Skipper, Dawson Moore, Olivia Bozeman and Abby Faye Sullivan.
Honorary pallbearers will be the remaining members of the Jackson Academy Class of 2020, Mitchell Johnson, Micah Johnson and Thomas Hicks.
