Harry Brant Lancaster, Jr., 47 of Gainestown, passed away November 14, 2018 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born December 17, 1970 in Mobile. An all-around outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in the woods as a timber cruiser. He adored his family and spent as much time as possible with them. He was a member of Gainestown United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle H. Lancaster; mother, Frances Lancaster; father, Harry Brant (Carol) Lancaster, Sr.; children, Heather Brooke Lancaster, Harry Brant Lancaster, III, Skylar Wallace; sisters, Teri Lancaster (Charles) McElmore, Toni Ann (Chris) Cowart; nieces, Tara Tess Tidwell, Mary Alice Papis; nephew, Richard Augustus Papis and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. E.C. Russell officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Gainestown United Methodist Church with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Matt Stone, Jason Martin, Chad Smith, William Foxx, Benny Foxx and Marvin Foxx.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
