Author B. Keil, daughter of the late Bruce and Nettie Robinson, was born December 22, 1932, in Alma, Alabama. B. attended Lily Valley School in Alma, Alabama, and graduated from Harper High School in Jackson, Alabama. At an early age in life she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined St. Matthew #2 Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. T. Davis in Alma, Alabama. B. married the love of her life, Franklin Lovell Keil, in 1956. They relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1957. She joined College Avenue Baptist Church in 1957 under the leadership of Rev. Armstead, which later became Oasis of Hope under the leadership of Rev. Frank Alexander. She loved working in the church and served on several committees. She remained a faithful member for 60 years. She was a loyal and dedicated employee of Zayre until she retired. B. quietly departed this life January 29, 2019. She is survived by two sisters, Thelma (James) Powell of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Velma Bumpers of Leroy, Alabama; brother, Lowdee (Alice) Robinson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and special nephew, Cameron Morris. No life is ever complete without friends that have endeared and enriched our lived along the way; and such is the case with Sara Franklin, Brenda Owens, Hallie Davis, and Vickie Dale.
