AC Taylor

AC Taylor, 83, of Jackson, passed away July 17,2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 3, 1939, to parents Charles Arthur and Ruby Pearl Brown Taylor. Mr. Taylor owned Jackson EMS ambulance service based in Jackson, Alabama throughout the 1980's. AC was a loving husband and adored his grandchildren and great grands. He loved spending time fishing and was a skilled float builder, he helped build many Mardi-gras parade floats in Mobile throughout the years.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Glenda Koen Taylor, brother Ralph Taylor, sisters Dorothy Coker, Gladys Wint, and Jewel Miller.

Survived by his children Greg (Allison) Taylor, Chuck (Monica) Taylor, Nauwausa Ochab Taylor, grandchildren Christopher (Jennifer) Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, Dustin Powell, Dixie Taylor, David Taylor, Aydan Taylor, Noah Taylor, Jase Taylor, great-grandchildren Jemma Moton, Kinley Taylor, Warren Taylor, also many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Memorial services will at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Rockville Baptist Church with fellowship following the service. Bro. Mark Dunn will be officiating the services. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
