Alice Wilkins

Alice Elizabeth Wilkins, 68, of Jackson, passed away August 7, 2023. She was born on October 11, 1954. Alice retired with 27 years as a maritime cook, she was always making sure everyone was taken care of, she was a very caring and giving person. The past few years she cared for her mother at home. She loved her family dearly. She enjoyed Alabama football, cooking, and of course, the ocean and the local beaches around the gulf.

Preceded in death by her father Charles 'Bud' Lawley.

Survived by her mother Lumerl Lawley, son Charles Zachary Wilkins, brother Wendell Ryals, sister Joannie Ryals, nephews Brent Ryals, Jacob (Mandy) Ryals, great nephew Cohen Ryals, great niece Mackenzie Handcock, many cousins, extended family, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Alice Wilkins to First Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 355 Jackson, AL 36545.
