Allen Savage Jr., 36, of Jackson, passed away on March 1, 2026. He was born April 8, 1989, to parents Wayne and Renee Roberts Savage. Allen grew up in Jackson and loved playing many sports, baseball, basketball, football, he graduated from Jackon Academy Class of 2007. He was a kid at heart, he liked riding the hoverboard, playing basketball with his son, and just having a good time. Anything to do with the outdoors, Allen was interested, he enjoyed hunting and taking care of the chicken and ducks at the farm. He was the man in charge of getting the nightly fires ready, he enjoyed relaxing and tending to the pit after a day's work. Allen was a thoughtful person, many times helping people when he seen a need. As a fan of the Auburn Tigers, he enjoyed the football season, often grilling for everyone as they gathered to watch the game. He recently committed to the one year Bible reading plan and took great interest in his faith. What mattered most to Allen was the love for his family, and his best friend and son, Carsten, he would do anything for him.
Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tommy Savage, and James Roberts.
Survived by his son; Carsten Brock Savage, parents; Wayne and Renee Savage, sisters; Amanda Carter, and Kim (Mike) Mefford, grandparents; Faye Roberts, George and Mildred Bradley, nieces and nephews; Jeremiah (Sarah) Mefford, Maverick and Hazel, Brandon Mefford, Savannah Mefford, Ty Savage, Kylie Rone, and his best friend and more like a brother, Zach Edwards. And his loyal companion, 'Aubie', he spent many years with his dog by his side.
Pallbearers will be Zach Edwards, Brandon Mefford, Ty Savage, Derrick Nelson, Brian Mosley, and Donnie Savage. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Savage and Keith Sherman.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with a visitation one hour prior to services. Bro. Kevin Lewis officiating.
