Ann Howell

Margaret Ann Howell, 88, of Jackson, Alabama departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1934, to Clayton F. and Lora B. McLean of Choctaw Bluff, Alabama. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1952. Ann was a member of McCann's Chapel United Methodist Church and UMW. She enjoyed needle work, gardening, and cooking for her family, after her eyesight failed, she enjoyed having her bible read to her.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Woodie Ray Howell, and her sister Mary Sue Creighton.
Survived by her daughters Pam McDonald and Dawn (Shannon) Decker, sister Kitty (Don) Pugh, grandsons Jared (Courtney) Loper, Tyler (Sue) Loper, Sam Gibbs, and Austin Decker. Great grandchildren Laura Kendall Burge, Jackson Marie Gibbs, and Lincoln Tennis Loper.
Pallbearers will be Jared Loper, Tyler Loper, Sam Gibbs, Austin Decker, Brent Megginson, and Hayden Megginson.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Trinity Memorial Gardens with a visitation one hour prior to services at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Rev. Paul McVay and Rev. Denise Park officiating the services.
