John Anthony Beck, age 70, of Salitpa, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026 surrounded by family.

Born on May 12, 1956 in Jackson, Alabama, to Nora Lee Beck and Sampy Allen Beck, Tony lived a full and meaningful life. He was the proud owner and operator of Bama Blasting and Painting, where he built a reputation for dedication, honesty, and providing quality service for his clients who often became lifelong friends.

Tony married Ronda in 1991, and together they shared 35 wonderful years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, generosity, and an unwavering love for his family.

Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things in life. He loved horses and cows and took great pride in caring for his land and animals. He was a true homebody who was happiest surrounded by the people and things he loved most. He never sought recognition for the countless ways he helped others, but his generosity and willingness to lend a hand touched many lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nora and Allen, siblings, Mary York and Jimmy Beck, and daughter, Alyssa. He is survived by his loving wife, Ronda, daughters, Wendy Keith (Zach), Nicole Beck-Prudencio (Wil), and Tyler Flowers (Britton) and seven grandchildren, John Hayden Keith, Ronaldo, Alexander, Victoria, and Isabella Prudencio, and Beck and Remi Flowers, sisters, Christine Hayes, Sylvia Powell, and Shelia Powell, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at River Hill Baptist Church on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the service hour with the interment immediately following the service at River Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
