Arnold Trogdon

Arnold R. Trogdon, 78, of Grove Hill, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born in North Carolina on December 28, 1943. Prior to retirement, he had been employed in the ENI Department at Boise Cascade (PCA). He was an avid reader, especially novels in the western genre by Louis Lamour. He also enjoyed "tinkering and piddling" as he said which included fishing, working with his tractor and woodwork.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Trogdon, Frances Cox Trogdon and grandson, Keeton Aubrey.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Trogdon; daughters, Lisa Knight, Tina Strong, Amanda (Scott) Barreras; grandchildren, Bragg Strong, Adam Knight, Morgan (J.J.) Dial, Shelby Morgan; great-grandson, James Dial; siblings, Steve (Ann) Trogdon, Lowell Trogdon, Wanda Wood and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill with the Rev. Grey Snodgrass officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
