Betty B. Arrington, 83, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Jackson Healthcare Facility in Jackson. She was born April 4, 1936 to Johnny Frank and Mary Sue Beverly in Coffeeville. A member of Jackson First United Methodist Church, she was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Cooking was a favorite activity, and she was known for the meals she prepared for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Arrington and brother, Frankie Gene Beverly.

She is survived by her children, Greg (Nissa) Cotten, Ed (Suzanne) Arrington, Leah (Ray) Trotter, Brenda (Fred) Fondren; grandchildren, Allison (Kris) Nelson, Burns (Stevie) Trotter, Cammie (Kristian) Thomas, Lillie Cotten, Maggie Cotten, Jamie Cotten, Alyssa Arrington, Macie Arrington; great-grandchildren, Logan Nelson, Lawson Nelson, Raegan Trotter, Paizley Trotter, Collins Trotter; siblings, Ronnie (Twiler) Beverly, Margaret Wendell; sister-in-law, Sallie Beverly and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday October 10, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield and Kris Nelson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Byron Beverly, Kristian Thomas, Davey Moseley, Kenny Smith, Kris Nelson and Jason Wendell.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Nicaragua Fund through the First Baptist Church of Jackson.
