Betty Jean Dungan Robinson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 1, 2025, in her hometown of Coffeeville, Alabama, at the age of 81. Born on July 31, 1944, to her parents Golby King Dungan and Grace Josephine Counselman Mott, Betty lived a life full of compassion, love, and dedication to those around her.
Married for 58 beautiful years to her husband, Billy Robinson, Betty created a home filled with laughter and joy, nurturing her children and grandchildren with boundless affection. She celebrated the simple pleasures of life, finding happiness in watching birds fly through the trees, tending to her beloved roses, and cherishing the companionship of her cats.
A true advocate for others, Betty's enduring concern for the well-being of those around her defined her character. She possessed a unique gift for making everyone feel special, often going out of her way to ensure that family, friends, and neighbors were looked after. Betty was affectionately known as "Granny B" by the ones she treasured most. She had a deep appreciation for nature, relishing in the beauty of roses and finding joy in bird watching. Her love extended profoundly to her children and grandchildren, who will always remember her nurturing spirit.
