Bettye Katherine Moseley Reeves, 84, of Leroy died Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Bettye was born February 20, 1938 to Leco Likens and Clyde Marguerite Moseley. She was a member of Leroy Baptist Church. Bettye was a beautician for over 50 years, retiring as the owner of Ultra Smart Beauty Salon. She loved gardening and enjoyed crafts of many varieties.

Bettye is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Reeves; son, Gary Reeves, Sr.; and sisters, Adalena (Charles) Patrick and Patricia (Ray) McIntyre.

She is survived by her children, Chuck (Jenny) Reeves and Sandra Marshan (Michael) Skipper; grandchildren, Misty (Brook) Embrey, Nickie (Wayne) Allday, Gary (Jessica) Reeves, Jr., Lori (Scott) Tacey, Rob (Amelia) Reeves, Matt (Kristian) Reeves, and Austin (Kelly) Reeves; as well as 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson with Rev. Dave Delegal officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Brook Embrey, Gary Reeves, Rob Reeves, Matt Reeves, Austin Reeves and Scott Tacey.
