Bobby Bolen
April 27, 1932 — January 18, 2018
Bobby H. Bolen, 85, of Jackson, passed away January 18, 2018 at Jackson Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1932 to Johnny Leo "L.J." Bolen and Ellie Jeanette Bolen.
A Veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served his country for 10 years during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was also a master Mason and a member of Walker Springs Methodist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and watching television.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Harlin Bolen and siblings, Leo Bolen and Hazel White.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jacqueline Bolen; children, Phililp (Jo) Bolen, Marlene Brown; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.
