Carolyn Loper Keith age 83 of Chatom, Alabama died on January 18, 2026, at Washington County Nursing Home. She was born on May 24, 1942, in Chatom, Alabama to Clifford and Idell Loper. She was retired from Merchants Bank.

She is survived by her son, Brian Keith (Sandy); Granddaughter, Krystle Dunnam (Chris); two great-grandsons, Jaxon Howard and Canaan Dunnam; and one sister, Ollie Loper Lewellen; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Lathan Funeral Home, Chatom, Alabama from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow immediately after the visitation at Yarbo Assembly of God Cemetery in Yarbo, Alabama. Bro. Keith Davis will be officiating the service.
