Carolyn Pierce

Carolyn Faye Pierce, 76, of Deer Park, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Leakesville, MS to Percy and Audrey Middleton on July 22, 1943. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling the United States and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Wayne Pierce; son, Jerry Pierce and aunt, Edith Patrick

She is survived by her lifelong partner, Ronald Culpepper; sons, Calvin (Alberta) Pierce, Rockey (Memory) Pierce, Earl (Donna) Pierce; grandchildren, Connor Pierce, Melody Pierce and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom with the Rev. Irvis Dale Everette officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the Parnell Cemetery in Tibbie.

Pallbearers will be Sean Atchison, Shawn Sanders, Scott Reed, Blaine Walley, Matthew Nicholson and Christopher “Smalls” Nicholson.

The family expresses sincere appreciation to everyone who has prayed, called, visited and brought food during this difficult time.
