Chrissy Wheless

September 12, 1964 — July 16, 2025

With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Chrissy Stewart Wheless, who passed away on July 16, 2025. Born on September 12, 1964, Chrissy was a vibrant soul whose passion for life shone through in everything she did. She was a member of Leroy Baptist Church and grew to have a strong faith in her Lord and Savior.

Chrissy had an extraordinary talent for painting, transforming her world into a canvas of joy. Her love for the beach, sun, and sand reflected her free-spirited nature; she often found her happiest moments basking in the sun. The joy she found in her furry companions, Rebel and Duke, was unparalleled; they were not just pets but cherished members of her family who brought her endless comfort and joy.

Known for her blunt honesty, Chrissy spoke her mind with a refreshing candor that endeared her to many. Her vibrant personality and openness made her a bit of a character but a truly beloved friend. With Chrissy, you knew you were loved, even during the quiet times.

A devoted mother, Chrissy, raised her sons, Adam Wheless and Chris (Tara) Conway, with love and strength. Chrissy adored her granddaughter Ayden Jett. Chrissy's bond with her mother, Edna Stewart, and sisters, Gina Jackman and Andrea Traxler, was a testament to her strong familial ties and unwavering support. Chrissy's memory will also live on through her host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Bob Stewart and grandparents Hopson & Bernice Stewart and Howard & Mable Robinson.

While our hearts ache for the loss of Chrissy, we are grateful for the time we had and the memories we will cherish forever. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Private services will be held by Chrissy's family at a later date in accordance with her wishes.
