Christeen Chastain

Christeen Andrews Chastain, 85, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Jackson Health Care Facility. She was born on May 28, 1935 to William Henry Andrews and Ora Virginia Edge Andrews. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jackson and had been employed as a nurse. She enjoyed watching movies, cooking, sewing, crochet and cross stitch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie “Rusty” Chastain and sisters, Henry Frances Andrews and Ouida Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Susan Jackson (Kim Anthony) Dragotta, David Jackson; grandchildren, Anthony (Jessica) Dragotta, Zachary (Erin) Dragotta; great-grandchildren, Wren Dragotta, Emerson Dragotta and special friend, Dottie (Jim) Fore.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Pine Crest Cemetery in Jackson with the Rev. Jim DuFriend officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
