Clara Morgan

Clara W. Morgan, 88, died June 6, 2022. She was born November 12, 1933 to the late Rufus and Martha Turner Willoughby. A resident of Whatley, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton and had worked as a clerk at Dollar General. Clara enjoyed spending time in her yard, she loved birds, she kept her feeders full and the squirls away.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Cecil Grey Morgan, sisters Bessie Daniels, Merle Gofourth, Nora Willoughby, Mamie Willoughby, Winnie Willoughby, brothers, Lloyd Willoughby, Jack Willoughby, Milton Willoughby, Floyd Willoughby, and Robert Willoughby.

She is survived by her children, Steven (Noreen) Morgan, Cecil "Rick" (Terri) Morgan, Geri (Dan) Finney, Deborah (Lavaughn) Fendley, Kathy (David) Roberts, Sharon (Joe) Wilson. 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill at 11:00 am with visitation for one hour prior. Bro. Steve Green and Bro. Dan Finney officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Lawn Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fulton First Baptist Church Sunday School Class, her friends at the Meadows and all the loving staff members.
