Commilla Ann Bozeman Reynolds

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Commilla Ann Bozeman Reynolds, who left us on January 21, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on August 14, 1953, in Louisiana, Ann spent her later years in Jackson, where she was a cherished member of her family.

A proud member of the Eastern Star, Ann dedicated many years to serve and uplift those around her. Her spirit shone brightly, especially during college football season, as she was an enthusiastic Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Those who knew her will fondly remember her love for sitting by the window, watching the birds and squirrels play in her yard - a simple pleasure that brought her immense joy.

Ann had a gift for cooking and baking that she shared generously with family and friends, always ensuring there was enough for everyone. Holidays, particularly Christmas, were made brighter by her warmth and hospitality, as she brought her family together to create cherished memories. She loved to explore, stay busy, and hunt for treasures while antiquing, each find telling its own beautiful story.

Above all, Ann loved her family immensely. Her pride as a mother and grandmother radiated in all she did, and her legacy will continue through her beloved son, James Reynolds (Tonya); grandchildren, Tyler Doby and Callie Doby; as well as her numerous other relatives and dear friends. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Carol Bozeman.

Family and friends are invited to honor Ann's life during a funeral service at Lathan Funeral Home on January 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Daniel Mairet, officiating. We invite all who knew and loved her to come together - to share stories, to laugh, to cry, and to celebrate the vibrant soul of Commilla Ann Bozeman Reynolds during a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Ann will be laid to rest in Old Leroy Baptist Cemetery following the service. May her memory be a blessing.
