Donna Byrd

Donna Ray Foster Byrd, 58, of Wagarville, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Jackson on March 22, 1961 to Jimmy Ray Foster and Sarah Donnie Wade Foster, both of whom preceded her in death. A member of McIntosh Baptist Church, she enjoyed fishing, raising flowers, especially Easter lilies, and Alabama and New Orleans Saints football. She was a talented cook who could make most any dish exceptional.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Daniel “Danny” Byrd; sons, Daniel (Bridget) Byrd, Tyler (Krista) Byrd; grandchildren, Jaiden Byrd, Jaimee Byrd, Michael Byrd, Jeremi Byrd; brother, Jimmy Howard “Jimbo” Foster; niece, Sarah Foster and nephew, James Foster.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at McIntosh Baptist Church with Bros. John Stone and Glenn Sullivan officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Wagarville.

Pallbearers will be William Willis, James Foster, Doug Evans, Chad Hayes, Bubba Weaver and Shane Rush.

Members of McIntosh Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations toward her funeral expenses are requested.
