Dorothy Etheredge

Dorothy Jean Doss Etheredge, 87, of Trafford, AL., passed away on Wednesday, August 22. She was born February 23, 1931 to William Phinas and Daisy Doss. She had been a professional in the real estate industry and enjoyed playing cards, cooking and playing the piano. As a devoted wife, mother, friend and so much more, she will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Vc She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oris Duane Etheredge, Sr.; son, Oris Etheredge, Jr. and siblings, Joseph Phinas (J.P.) Doss, Louise Larsen, Ruth Crittenden and Billy Doss.
She is survived by her children, Lee Etheredge, Brent Etheredge, Jean Etheredge Hogue; grandchildren, Carrie Graham, Jessie Etheredge, Mason Etheredge, Camille Hogue, Cooper Hogue; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Graham, Peyton Graham and brother, Herschel Doss.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at West Bend Baptist Church the Rev. Butch Starks/Irby Weaver officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at West Bend Baptist Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Kilborn, Brad Kilborn, Michael Day, George Day and Ryan Hefflin.
