Dorothy Howard

Dorothy Cecile Boroughs Howard, 77, of Tibbie, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Jackson on February 10, 1944 to R.L. Boroughs and Dorothy Patrick Boroughs. The joy of her life was taking care of her home and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore B. Howard and brother, Rufus Boroughs.
She is survived by her children, Bart (Charlotte) Howard, Carmen (Mark) Sims, Tracy (Leon) Laton, Diane Pierce; thirteen (13) grandchildren; fourteen (14) great-grandchildren; siblings, Eunice Keith, Karen Etheredge, Kathleen (Olan) Kelley, Linda Turner, Faye (Rodger) Bozone and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Howardtown Baptist Church Cemetery in Tibbie with the Rev. Ernest Tucker officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
