Eddie Melvin Moseley Sr.

Eddie Melvin Moseley Sr., a beloved father and cherished member of the Midway community, passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 22, 1945, Eddie lived a life marked by dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to his family and faith.

A devoted member of Midway Community Church, Eddie served many positions at his church and was a much-loved Sunday School teacher. His faith was a guiding light in his life, reflecting his values of compassion and service to others.

Eddie spent many years working as an electrician at Ciba Geigy, where he was known not only for his skill but also for his kindness and camaraderie with his colleagues. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for deer and turkey hunting, fishing, and playing golf. These activities were not just hobbies for Eddie; they were cherished moments spent in nature and with friends and family, where laughter and joy abounded.

Eddie is survived by his sons, Eddie " Mel" (Angela) Moseley and Danny (Amy) Moseley; grandchildren: Rachael (Patrick) Paul, Paige (Derek) Conner, Addyson Moseley, Kennedy Moseley; great grandchildren: Clayton Paul, Thomas Cummings, and Edie Paul; brothers Aubrey (Carolyn) Moseley, Bobby ( Paula Lynn) Moseley, and sister Nelly Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Chad Warrick, Buddy Warrick, Patrick Paul, Derek Conner, Gary Goldman, and Chris Shoultz.

Funeral Services will take place on November 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Eddie's life. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at Midway Community Church, starting at 1:00 PM., Bro. Randy Grimes and Mark Dees officiating.

Eddie will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May we all carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and faith.
