Edna Delaughter

Edna Elizabeth (Mizell) Delaughter, 94, passed away August 25, 2020 at Jackson Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Delaughter was born in Zona, LA June 24, 1926 to the late Wilmer and Ida S. Mizell. She was a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church where she served in the church nursery for many years. Mrs. Delaughter enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren but above all she loved the Lord.

Mrs. Delaughter is preceeded in death by her parents, husband, Buford Delaughter, nine siblings, daughter-in-law Ann Delaughter, and three grandchildren, Jason Bordelon, Travis Bordelon and Chandra Delaughter.

She is survived by her children, Calvin and Shirley Delaughter of Chuigak, AK, Mike and Brenda Delaughter of White Settlement, TX, John and Sharon Bordelon of Jackson and Jim and Emmagene Day of Jackson, brother, Wayne Mizell of Narco, LA, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
