Eloise Mason

Eloise McCloskey Gwin Mason, 82, passed away on July 17, 2024. Eloise was born July 27, 1941, to Alton and Donnie McCloskey. Eloise was a resident of Leroy and a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church. She had worked at Mac's Drugs for many years. Eloise was very family-oriented: she loved to cook for her family and adored spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers.

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Donnie McCloskey; husbands, Charles V. Gwin and Marion M. Mason; and grandson Jeremy Lee Copeland.

She is survived by her children, Mike Gwin, Linda Blanton, Debbie (Lee) Simmons, Terri (Don) Parnell, Don (Cynt) Mason, and Ronald Mason; daughter-in-law, Mona Mason; sister, Jean Drinkard; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Garrick, Zach Bailey, Lynyrd Copeland, Chris Taylor, Ronald Mason and Tony Mason.
