Esther Moss

Esther Maude Moss, 100, of Vinegar Bend, passed away on April 9, 2023, in Mobile. She was born on November 30, 1922, to parents Wade and Maud Brock Platt. Esther graduated from Fruitdale High School and attended the University of Alabama. She retired from her career as a bookkeeper for various businesses. She enjoyed gardening, football, and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband William Clifford Moss Jr., her parents, daughter in law Janet Moss, siblings Grace, Inez, Monroe, Orman, Hamilton, Nolen, Nelson, and John.
Esther is survived by her children Trip Moss, Sedje (Larry) Sims, grandchildren Sedjenane (Jeff) Chang, Brooke (Matt) Canonica, Peyton (Skyler) Moss-Crowley, and Taylor Moss, great grandchildren Michael and Tyler Canonica, Aiden and Rylan Chang, and her sister Jane Weathers. Also many other nieces and nephews, other extended family members, and loving friends.
