Evelyn Mcdonald

Evelyn Reeves McDonald, 85, of Jackson died March 20, 2017 in Jackson Medical Center. Mrs. McDonald was a lifelong resident of Jackson and a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church.



Mrs. McDonald is survived by her daughters, Pattie (Ed) Mueller of Hampton, VA, Mary (Steve) Holcomb of Cabot, AR, Carol Love of Mansfield, LA; brother, Thomas (Jewel) Beverly of Jackson; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Reeves; husband, Bryant "Red" McDonald, Jr.; son, Michael Sidney Reeves; son-in-law, Roy Love, Sr.; one sister and three brothers.



Visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at Stave Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Humphreys officiating. Mrs. McDonald will lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Stave Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
