Gerald Howard

Gerald Howard, 65, of Tibbie, passed away November 11, 2023. He was born March 10, 1958, in Chatom, Alabama to Dan and Willie Mae Parnell Howard. He was a graduate of Washington County High School. Gerald enjoyed playing softball in his younger years. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball and the Alabama Crimson Tide play football. Roll Tide Roll! Some of Geralds favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Hoss Howard, sisters; Lorraine Howard, Patsy Parnell, Faye Miller, and Bonnie Odom.

Gerald is survived by his sister Deadra (Roger) Beech and brother Doots Howard, numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on November 14, 2023 at Fairhope Baptist Church with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Bro. Larry Darden officiating and Lathan Funeral Home Directing. Burial will be the church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Matthew Beech, Zach Howard, Kevin Howard, Clayton Howard, Shane Howard, Nicky Howard, David Howard, and Brent Parnell. Honorary Pallbearers Roger Beech, Henry Ross, David Ross, and Tom Williams.
