Glenn Howard
Sullivan
Jan 28, 1945 — Jul 3, 2026
Glenn Howard Sullivan, affectionately known to family and friends as "Chic," passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on January 28, 1945, to Jack and Annie Ruth Sullivan, Glenn lived a life defined by honesty, hard work, humility, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Glenn was the kind of man whose actions spoke louder than words. Quiet and shy by nature, he was a man of few words, but when he spoke, his word meant everything. His integrity was unquestionable, and he earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He led not by seeking attention, but by setting an example through the way he lived his life every single day.
Above all else, Glenn was a devoted husband and the very best father. His family was the center of his world, and everything he did was for those he loved. He instilled in his children the value of hard work, responsibility, honesty, and perseverance. His incredible work ethic and steadfast character became a lasting legacy that will continue to guide his family for generations to come.
Glenn found his greatest joy in the simple things in life. He loved hunting and fishing, tending to his vegetable garden, and spending time outdoors. Whether working the land, casting a line, or sitting quietly in nature, he found peace in God's creation. Those moments reflected the kind of life he cherished-simple, meaningful, and full of purpose.
To know Glenn was to know a man of strength, humility, and unwavering love. He never sought recognition, yet he left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him. His life reminds us that true greatness is found not in loud words or grand gestures, but in faithfulness, kindness, and the quiet example of a life well lived.
Glenn's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his love, wisdom, values, and example will continue to inspire those who were blessed to call him husband, Daddy, PawPaw, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Luverne Bozeman Sullivan; sisters, Bonnie Morris, Jackie Turner, and Carol Lathan.
