Grace Jackson

Grace W. Jackson, 80, of Jackson, passed away April 9, 2018 at a family residence in Elberta. She was born December 19, 1937 to Nebuchadnezzar and Lula Mae Waltman. She had been employed as a seamstress at Vanity Fair and attended Walker Springs Road Baptist Church. Her hobbies included gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior Jackson and siblings, Marvin Waltman, Albert Waltman, Jimmy Waltman, Frances Mae Rhodes and Thelma Carpenter.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Jackson, Jane Jackson, Paula Jackson, Paul (Johann) Jackson; grandchildren, Brian Jackson, Melissa Jackson, Michelle Jackson, Austin Jackson, Maggie Jackson, Sarah Grace Jackson and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. William Allison officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Singleton, Bill Spence, Junior Carpenter, Ray Pipkens, Brian Jackson and Austin Jackson.
