Greta Odom

Greta Darlene Odom, 72, of Grand Bay passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2023, at her residence. Greta was born September 4, 1951, to William Leo Odom and Sarah Amanda Gates Odom. Greta was a member of First Baptist Church of Chatom. She was very much an equestrian, attending many shows with her beloved horse, Major. One of Greta's favorite pastimes was fishing.

Greta is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jeffrey Odom and Jimmy Odom. She is survived by her nephew, Josh Odom; cousin, Marisa Felps (Donnie); great-nephew, Zachary; great-nieces, Rilee and Aubree; close friends Karen Tonsmeire and Ann Hearin as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Her family will gather at Lathan Funeral Home, Chatom on September 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. to honor the memory of Greta. Condolences may be offered at www.lathanfuneralhome.com.
