Hank
Dunagan
Jan 30, 1939 — Aug 23, 2026
Hank Dunagan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on January 30, 1939, and was a longtime resident of Coffeeville.
Hank was a man of strong faith who loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with all of his heart. For more than 60 years, he was a faithful member of Ulcanush Baptist Church, where he also served as a deacon. His life was a testimony to his faith, and he will be remembered for the love, kindness, and devotion he showed to those around him.
Hank was also proud of his years as a football player. He was a member of the Coffeeville High School football team that won the championship in 1955, a treasured accomplishment that remained a special part of his life and memories.
An avid outdoorsman, Hank especially loved to hunt turkey. He enjoyed the time spent in the woods, the beauty of God’s creation, and the traditions that came with hunting. But above all, Hank loved his family. They were his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Hank leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, friendship, and service. His life touched many people, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at home with his Lord and Savior.
