Holly Williams

Holly Nashae Williams, 39, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Buchanan, Georgia. Holly was born to Dannie Elvin and Cindy Jo (Murphy) Williams on September 10, 1985, in Waynesboro, Mississippi.

Holly was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She never met a stranger - her warmth and kindness made people feel like old friends within moments. With a smile that could brighten any room and a laugh that was truly contagious, Holly brought joy wherever she went. She had a deep love for music and a special way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. If she ever told you she loved you, she meant it with all her heart. She also cherished the simple pleasures in life, like sipping from a favorite cup and enjoying the moment. Holly's spirit was genuine, joyful, and unforgettable, and she will be missed beyond words.

Holly is preceded in death by her father, Dannie Williams; her grandparents, Leland and Mary Melinda (Linnie) Williams, John Robert and Lorraine Murphy; her son, Lucas Ray Yates.

Holly is survived by her mother, Cindy Jo Williams; sister, Molinda Jo Williams; brother, A.J. (Sarah) Williams; her children, Alyssa, Katie, Daniel, Tyler, and Jacob; special cousin, Deborah Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Fred Cross IV, Ira Brown, Matthew Patterson, Logan Thornton, Robert Lee Hare, and Colby Cooley.

Services will be held at South Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fruitdale, Alabama on Friday, September 12, 2025. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation an hour prior. Burial will be at Grace Williams Cemetery.
