Nelson Reynolds

Howard 'Nelson' Reynolds, 91, of Grove Hill, passed away April 18, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 23, 1932, in Washington County. Nelson grew up in Washington County, graduating high school and then attending Auburn University and graduating with a master's degree in agriculture. He moved to Clarke County in 1965 and began working for several chemical companies throughout the years. He attended Grove Hill United Methodist Church. His hobbies and interests followed his career, he truly enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, deer hunting, and time spent with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, son David Reynolds, brothers George Franklin Reynolds, Edward Reynolds, and sister Virgina Reynolds Hare.

Survived by his wife of 70 years, Martha Reynolds, children Jennie (Chris) Larimer, Phillip Reynolds, grandchildren Meagan (Finlay) Karry, Jesse (Mitchell) Capriglione, Daniel Reynolds, Neil Larimer, Cole Larimer, Benjamin Larimer, many great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Paula Reynolds, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill, Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
