Howard Vinson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Howard Vinson, 72, of Thomasville. Howard passed away at Jackson Medical Center on November 26, 2025. He was born to parents, Eugene and Sybil (Heddleston) Vinson, on September 30, 1953, in West Virginia.

He devoted many years to the auto industry, working his way from mechanic to respected service manager. His hard work, integrity, and passion for fixing anything with an engine touched countless lives.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Melody.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Vinson; his step- daughter, Angie Hogan; and his brother, Murray Vinson.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Thomasville United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow after the service at Choctaw Corner Cemetery. Rev. Jennifer Guidoni will be officiating.
