Imogene H Caldwell

Imogene H. Caldwell, born May 31, 1946, of Grove Hill, Alabama, departed this life peacefully at Heritage Health Care and Rehabilitation in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on February 6, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Eugene Huggins and Nora Lee Brown Huggins; her brother, Edward Allen Huggins, sister-in-law, Lois Huggins, and brother-in-law, James Larry Blanton.

Survivors include her sons, Darren R. Barnes (Tracie) and Tony C. Barnes (Dawn); her grandchildren, Analeigh, Dylan, Cade (Madison), John Braxton, and Emma; her sister, Katherine Blanton, and brother, Fred Huggins (Gloria); along with a host of nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends whom she loved dearly.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 11, at one o'clock in the afternoon at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill, Alabama, with Lathan Funeral Home directing and Bro. William Gibbons officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to your local church or favorite charity.
