James Kearley

James Larry Kearley, 78, of Grove Hill, passed away at his home on June 6, 2025. James was born on August 19, 1946, to parents James Gilbert and Virginia Armistead Kearley.

Larry was married to the love of his life, Ida Jane Kearley, for 63 years. Together they had three children, Bryan, Lee, and Robert. Larry loved to hunt, fish and watch Alabama football and attended many games. Roll Tide!

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Betty Kearley Gilyot and Terry Duvane Kearley.

Larry is survived by his wife, Ida Jane Kearley, sons Bryan (Becky) Kearley, Lee (Nancy) Kearly, and Robert (Laurel) Kearley; grandchildren Justin (Brittany) Kearley and Christopher (Rebecca) Kearley; great grandchildren Jayce Kearley, Catherine Kearley, and Kristen Kearley.

A private service was held at Antioch Baptist Cemetery on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
