Jerry Overstreet

Jerry E. Overstreet, 70, of Leroy, passed away April 19, 2023, at his home. He was born October 15, 1952, in Grove Hill to parents Ray and Kathryn Greer Overstreet. Jerry loved his family and cherished the time they spent together. On gameday he was either cheering for the Leroy Bears or Auburn University. Jerry retired from Olin as a millwright.

Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Curtis Overstreet.

Survived by his wife Connie Overstreet, son Daniel Overstreet, daughter Kathryn Overstreet, sisters Linda Everhart, Cindy (David) Powell, Brenda (Greg) Brunson, also many nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Clark Alday, Rob Reeves, Grant Everhart, Ryan Powell, Casey Powell, and Cal Powell.

Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the New Leroy Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Ben Posey officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
