Joe Dailey

Joe Henry Dailey, 78, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away on January 18, 2020. Born in Alabama on November 7, 1941 to Orman and Sadie Griffin Dailey. Joe was a painter and carpenter by trade, later taking over his father’s business and continuing his craft. He was one to always get a laugh out of you with his jokes and sense of humor. Joe loved animals especially his dogs and cats that kept him company at home. And one of his great joys was his hobby of collecting guns and rifles.

Joe is survived by his sisters; Ann Graham and Hilda Rae Downey, many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Drew Dailey.

Graveside services will be at 1 pm on January 21, 2020 at Hopewell Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home Directing.
