John Craig Milstead, 58, of Coffeeville, born on September 4, 1968, to parents John Christopher and Mary Evonne Dungan Milstead, and died September 18, 2026. Craig worked at International Paper as a construction manager in Prattville. He loved Alabama football, repairing cars to sell, and when he had the time, he enjoyed going fishing and riding his motorcycle on the country roads.

Preceded in death by his father John Christopher Milstead.

Survived by his wife Lisa Milstead, son Matthew (Savannah) Milstead, mother Yvonne Milstead, siblings Martha (Danny) Hoven, Anita (Jimmy) Allen, Glen Milstead, Mary (Johnny) Tarver, many extended family members and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Brian Moton, Jake Lolley, Jason James, Kris Hudson, Charles Jackson, Dwight Pugh. Honorary Pallbearers will be JP Walker, Craig Anderson, Ricki Clanton, Charles Brooks, Johnny Cowan, Danny Bradley, Dan Hoven, Michael Stringfellow, and Jessie Sims.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Coffeeville with a visitation one hour prior to services. Bro. Brent Fuller officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing, interment will follow immediately after the services at Union Grove Cemetery.
