Joyce Counselman

Joyce Havelin Counselman, 80, of Grove Hill, passed away August 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 1, 1937 to William and Carrie Havelin. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Royce Havelin, Daniel Havelin, Louise Havelin Turner, James Havelin, Donald Havelin and Sharon Havelin McIntyre.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Counselman; daughter, Diane (Will) Butler; grandchildren, Wayne Butler, Kyle (Grace) Butler; great-grandchildren, Salah Butler, Rylie Butler; sister, Maxine Elliott and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Grace Chapel Church in Coffeeville with the Revs. Jimmy Powell and Jesse Griffith officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harry Harrell, Eric Bedwell, Michael Harrison, Kenny Counselman, Johnny Counselman and Benny Counselman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rene' Etheredge, Carla Baxley, Megan Bonner, Angela Giles, Christina Philon, Donna York, Vicki Smith and Mary Pugh.
