Julia Nall Guy, a resident of Pleasant Grove Community, passed away at Jackson Medical Center on Monday, March 13, 2023 at age 76. She was born October 13, 1946 in Mobile, AL. She was a devoted wife of 59 years, mother, and grandmother. She attended Coffeeville High School and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a hard worker and worked for many years at Billy's Burger House and Teledyne. She loved to care for other, to sew, and she loved her family.
Mrs. Guy is survived by her husband, Gene Guy; one daughter, Tammy Guy; one grandson, Tanner Spillers; one brother, Kenneth (Phyllis) Nall); two sisters, Joan (Ross) Courington, and Rita Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin R. Nall and Eloise C. Nall.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow the funeral service in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Courington, James Reaves, Brent Robinson, Wesley Robinson, Marty Wilson and Van Wilson.
