Kathleen Garrick

Kathleen Garrick, 82, a lifelong resident of Jackson, Alabama died on December 4, 2020 in Gulf Port, MS. Mrs. Garrick was born June 19, 1938 to the late David and Dorothy Grey Walker. She loved participating in the children’s ministry at her church, planting and taking care of her garden and flowers, being creative with her arts and crafts, and of course spending time with her family.Preceded in death by her husband, David “Buddy” Garrick, and her son, David Lawrence Garrick Jr.She is survived by her children Michael Dwayne Garrick and daughter, Sherry Lynn Garrick, grandchildren; Ashley Smith, Christopher Smith, Jennifer Nichols, Michael Garrick, David Garrick, Jami Garrick, Meg Jordan, Mandy Garrick, Davey Garrick, and 12 great grandchildren. Brothers; Stan (Carolyn) Walker, Dwight Walker, Douglas (Betsy) Walker, and sister Virginia (Jimmy) Deas.Pallbearers will be Christopher Smith, Landon Smith, Spence Walker, Michael Garrick, David Garrick, David Walker. Honorary Pallbearers; Cason Smith, Hayden Garrick, Braydon Nichols, John Lucas Nichols, Slade Garrick.Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield and Rev. Brian Jemison officiating and Lathan Funeral Home Directing. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Jackson, Children’s Ministry.
