Kenneth Anderson

Kenneth Lee Anderson, 81, of Gainestown, passed away June 11, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born April 25, 1937 to Roy and Bertie Bazzel Anderson. A member of Perry's Chapel United Methodist Church, he had retired as a delivery/merchandising representative with Eli Whitt Tobacco Co. and a school bus driver with the Clarke County Board of Education. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and was an avid fan of Auburn football and the Atlanta Braves.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Donnie Keith Anderson, Johnny Tolbert and siblings, Louise Hill, Eugenia Clark, Joyce Parnell and Roy Nolan Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Anderson; children, Denise Anderson (Terry) Glidewell, Larry (Alice) Tolbert, Harry (Carol) Tolbert, Dot (David) McIntyre, James Tolbert, David (Sue) Tolbert; siblings, Doris Manning, Leo (Karen) Anderson, Kathryn (Danny) Lee, Judy Busby, Marie (Larry) Sheffield; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Perry's Chapel United Methodist Church in Gainestown with the Revs. Tommy Gaillard and James Rhodes officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Perry's Chapel Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Hill, Andy Parnell, Ray Parnell, Larry Wayne Parnell, Woody Parnell, Clay Parnell, Douglas Parnell, Charles Anderson, Mark Anderson, Chad Busby, Brad Busby, Jeremy Johnson and Gene Sheffield.
All grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
