Kimberly Thompson

Kimberly Ann Thompson, 47, of Jackson, passed away September 19, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born August 27, 1971 to Erwin Eugene Tillman Jr. and Nancy Ann Blackmon Tillman. A registered nurse, she had been employed at several hospitals, but in her spare time, she enjoyed Alabama football, fishing, hunting and the beach. She frequented various types of restaurants, but her favorites were those that served good steaks and seafood.
She is survived by husband of 29 years, Gary Cowan Thompson, Sr.; sons, Gary Cowan (Andrea Lee) Thompson, Jr., Wesley Eugene Thompson; grandson, Brayden Joseph Thompson; parents, Erwin and Nancy Tillman; brothers, Robbie (Charie) Tillman, Bobby (April) Tillman; mother and father-in-law, Ted and Nora Thompson and sisters-in-law, Jan Thompson and Sandi (Hal) Breitling.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Gary Thompson, Jr., Wesley Thompson, Robbie Tillman, Bobby Tillman, Aaron Tillman and Daniel Tillman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Tillman, Trevor Tillman and Alex Breitling.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude or Ronald McDonald House.
