Lyla Koch

Lyla B. Koch, 84, of Jackson, passed away August 25, 2017 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. She was born January 12, 1933 to John L. and Thera Mae Bumpers. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Jackson.



She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Bumpers.



She is survived by her children, Linda (Michael) Middleton, Rudy G. Koch; grandchildren, Chandler (Lisa) Koch, Landon (Toni) Koch, Brian (Lacey) Middleton, Brandon Middleton, Blake Middleton; great-grandchildren, Emma Middleton, Ella Middleton; siblings, John H. Bumpers, Larry Bumpers, Brenda White and special friend, Evelyn Cooper.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville with Rev. William Allison officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Coffeeville Town Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.



Pallbearers will be Chandler Koch, Landon Koch, Brian Middleton, Brandon Middleton, Blake Middleton and Phillip Bumpers.
