Margaret Harris

Margaret Ann Buskirk Harris, 91, of Jackson, passed away at Living Center of Pensacola on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in Ohio on Tuesday, March 21, 1931. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a registered nurse at the Arrington Nursing Home (now Jackson Healthcare Facility) for approximately twenty years. She enjoyed interior decorating, sewing and raising flowers. She was a wonderful cook and often went deep sea fishing with her husband. She supported philanthropic causes, including Wounded Warrior Project and Danny Thomas Children's Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Buskirk, Effie Wyatt Buskirk; husband, Woodrow Wilson "W.W." Harris and several siblings,
She is survived by her children, Debbie Smith, Charles (Debbie) Harris, Francine Harris, Diane Harris, Aimee Winters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Jackson with the Rev. Renea Henderson officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
