Marion Wilson

Marion R. Wilson, 80, of Jackson, passed away August 17, 2018 at Jackson Medical Center. He was born February 13, 1938 to Jay and Allie Wilson. He had been employed as an instrument technician with Ciba Geigy and was a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Nell Massey, Jean Goodman and Charles L. Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hoven Wilson; daughter, Tawny Wilson; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Wilson, Betty Horton and brother-in-law, Condie Hoven.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Dr. Andy Goode officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Miles Wilson, Robin Wilson, Kipp Hoven, Kirby Hoven, Greg Horton and Stacy Carpenter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carlton Carpenter, Dane Daugherty, Marylyn Cranford, John Waddill, Roger Pettis, Joe DuBose, Grahman Wilson, R.L. Guy, Rickey Manchester and Gray Smith.
