Mary Butts

Mary Frances Butts, 70, of Millry, passed away March 28, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born August 22, 1949 to Mack and Frances Tate Koen. Mary will always be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved being able to stay home and care for her family especially cooking. She loved the outdoors and the spending time at the ponds, lakes, and rivers fishing with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryal (David) Alldredge, grandson, Wyatt Alldredge, and many other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband James ‘Bo’ Butts, her parents and brothers, Donnie Koen and Jimmy Koen.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Healing Springs Cemetery in Millry with Rev. Scott Giles officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Friends may pay their respect to the family at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday before the services.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Butts, Jerry Wayne Butts, Adam Grimes, Justin Koen, Dewayne Dew, Jacob Koen.
