Mary Mills

Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Mills, 67, of Grove Hill, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Wichita, KS on April 9, 1954 to Milton A. Foster, Sr. and Patsy Ann Rutledge Foster. A lifelong homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a "green thumb" and could make anything grow. She loved hummingbirds, roses, wind chimes, dream catchers and especially enjoyed the television programs, The Price Is Right and The Young and The Restless.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, William F. "Tripp" Carter and siblings, Monica Foster and Teddy Jo Foster.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Earl G. Mills, Sr. of Grove Hill; children, Lacresha "Ann" (William "Bobo") Carter, Jr., Earl (Heather) Mills, Jr, both of Grove Hill, Joanna (Brian) Davis of Monroeville; grandchildren, Courtney (Chris) Weaver, Hunter (Kayla) Carter, Alyssa Harrison, Jimbo Davis, Wyatt Davis, Earl "Duke" Mills, III, Troy Mills, Gage Davis; great-grandchildren, Chloe Weaver, Kinley Weaver, Liam Carter, William Weaver, Rosalee Carter; siblings, Ginger (Glenn) Pierce, Elaine (Tony) Saxon, Diane (Harold) Shaw, Mickey (Connie) Foster, Cindy Foster and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Revs. Brent Fuller and Russell Wright officiating and Amy Davis providing the music. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Peniel Baptist Cemetery in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Colton Burroughs, Hunter Carter, Patrick Claunch, Jimbo Davis, Duke Mills and Chris Weaver.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Andrews, Gage Davis, Wyatt Davis and Troy Mills.
